rear end swap

I have a 01 ext cab lowered 4" I,m wondering if I can swap the posi trac disc brake rear end from the 4x4 on to my truck. If anyone has any info I would love to here it. I'll share everything know, I've done a few good mods to my ride

I am actually working on putting a corvette rearend in my s-10. A few custom pieces and axles shortened but you end up with a rear disc independent posi rear with coil overs. Here is an interesting article I found. It was done in a 56 Ford F-100 but the concept is the same.

Hey bro thanks 4 the info. I have been working on looks and interior, now that I have that done I'm working on performance, I met a guy at a high per shop that said he got over 300hp at the wheels with cyclone heads, headers, bore, stroke, balance, and a 6lb super charger on the 4.3, I dont want to go for the V8 swap I'm tring to keep it looking like a sleeper, I have not seen this guys truck, do you think he is blowing smoke or do you think that I can get that kind of hp out of the 4.3, I'm having a hard time finding high performance parts for the 4.3, If you have any resources on parts I could use a place to find what I'm looking for.
