I have a 76 F150 with a BB 390(original engine) thats blown and looking to replace it with a 351w from my 66(not the original engine) and was wondering what I would have to do to complete this swap. I know that I will have to change the flywheel because of the balancing issues. what I am unsure of the most are the frame mounts and driveshaft. Any help on this project would be greatly appreciated.

I might be wrong, but I think if you're using the same transmission driveshaft length should be ok. As for the motor mounts, obviously you're going to have to use mounts for the windsor. You should to try to find a 351/400m, it's a better engine, or even a 351 cleveland.. I personally don't like the windsors, had nothing but trouble with them...Hope this help a little....Mike..
