Remote Trunk Keeps Opening

Has a mind of its own. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes when I come to the car in the morning it's open, other times it is not. Pulled the fuse but that disables the gas tank door also. Anyone had this problem and can let me know how they fixed it. I have the switch in the glove box off. My next step was to pull the door panel and disconnect the switch but I thought I would ask in the forum first. Thanks for any reply.
