most likely distributor O-ring or valve cover
clean your motor with simple green/spray nine/gunk/pressure washer/whateverfloatsyourboat and then find the source of the leak
do u have any pics ?

I say O-Ring on the back of the distributor. I just had this replaced on my Prelude.

distrubtor O-ring. I work at a car dealership they have drawers full of random parts. One was o-rings and I found the size for my distrubtor so i got a bunch lol. When you install it put a little grease around it I noticed it seals a wee bit better and they say it will keep it from leaking longer (if it decides to do it again). Also a thing you can check is make sure your 3 bolts holding your distrubtor are snuged down also.

lol nah bro, i know a blown head gasket when i see it. I had a blown head gasket on my last 2 engines. Yea, i think it is my distributor. Me and BamBam89LX (jordan) were looking at my distributor one day and he was like "dude, you only have 2 bolts holding your distributor" So i'm guessing that may be my problem. I should just put that bolt back in and it should be fine hopefully. Most likely i bought the engine like that cuz the guy who did my swap just dropped the engine in.

I'm 100% sure it's not the o-ring. There's actually only ONE bolt holding the dizzy to the head which is the top bolt. I'm almost sure thats the problem. I know its not the gasket because he doesn't blow blue or white smoke and doesn't burn oil/coolant and his car runs clean. Also, the engine is a 99 and has barely 40k on it.
The reason his temp gauge was always up wuz because he had alot of air in the system but he bled it and that problem has been fixed.

Just get new seals, thats what I did. I replace the valve cover seal and the dizzy seal and spark plug seals pretty much the whole kit and it all work. No more oil leaks and it's clean as a whistle...
