z8 style z3?

Hi, I was woundering if it were possible to fit a Z8 bumper/headlights, as well for the rear on a Z3. I was thinking that a body shop could order them, install thme and paint em. And is this illegal, to change the identitly of the car, with Z8 badges? cause the police will see it as a Z8, but the pl;ate and vin will be a Z3.
