hooking stuff up to the battery

k guys, thanks for the advice on the neons but another thing i need to know is how to hook something up to the battery terminal, could someone please tell me in detail... remember im completely new at this.

Buy some of those blue/grey connectors I beautifully drew for you, and slide the wire in their butthole, then crunch it will some pliers. There will be a 10mm hex nut on each battery terminal, take those off and put the positive wire underneath the red one and tighten the nut back over it, and the negative wire on the negative terminal the same way.
