To Vtecludey. Dude are you stupid or something. A 2000 prelude has 200 horsepower and 156 feet of torque in stock form. And a prelude driven by a professional driver can only do 0-60 in 7-7.3 seconds, when a 91 turbo mr2 is 5.8-6.3 seconds to 60 mphs. Also the turbo mr2 has a 3stge engine which is the best engine that toyota has ever made for any of its cars. So that engine will take a lot more abuse and power than the prelude engine. And the stock mr2 has 200 horsepower and 200 feet of torque. That is the american version. Also as other people said the mr2 is mid engined and it is rear wheel drive which lets it take off a lot faster. Once it takes of the turbo lurns on which is at 2000 rpm, unlike the prelude sh which is at 5000 rpm. and also we have had a prelude sh and it is nothing compared to the turbo mr2. In performance and handling and quality. So i think that you need to start thinking staight.

um, not sure if you were trying to post a reply instead of a new thread as you have.
either way, thread closed. but you may open another discussion between the prelude and mr2 if you choose, but just leave out any insult or anything of that nature.
