How stiff are Eibach Pros?

How stiff is the ride with Eibach Pros? Do you feel every bump in the road? I want to know because I want to drop my car a lil but i dont want to sacrafice too much of my ride quality. My car gets driven like hell, and sees +400 mile road trips about three times a year on top of my average commute of 30-40 miles straight one way twice a day. As you can see I spend a lot of time in my car.

The spring rates on them is: Eibach ProKit - 290F/190R respectively. They are also a progressive type spring, so on normal D/D they shouldn't be all that stiff. 290/190 rates are pretty average for typical lowering springs. You should be fine on them. :)

Can someone explain spring rates to me? D/D that means daily driving, right? Does anyone know what are the stock spring rates so i could get a numerical comparison?

Yup, you got it right for what D/D means. ;)

As for spring rates, it basically means now much force is needed to compress the spring. Those Eibachs are rated at 290lbs/ft for the fronts. In comparison, my Tein coilovers on my car have the front springs rated at 559lbs/ft. That's a pretty stiff rate for the street, though since the shocks have adjustable dampening force adjustment, I can make them feel quite soft, almost near stock in fact actually. The stock springs for a 6th gen EX Civic are 165F/80R respectively. That's 165lbs/ft. for the fronts, and 80lbs/ft for the rears. In comparison with the Eibachs, both Neuspeed Sports and H&R OE's are both rated at the same spring rat numbers as the Prokit you are considering. The Eibach Sportlines are slightly stiffer, and so I think you'd be best off with the Prokit. :)
