I like the Gallardo's looks better. Pure performance though, I'd guess the Viper has the edge in handling/braking while straight line speed is very similar.

that is a really really hard choice. since there performance is really close, my decision will be more subjective. i personally like exotics more than muscle cars, so i would like to have the lambo more. but i would also take the viper.

both have more power than i would ever need, so its not about which one is faster, or can take turns at higher speeds, i think i'd be able to pick up more chicks with the lambo, plus its more exclusive, maybe if i didn't really want one i could sell it for more too

Tough to say on exclusivity...I havent seen one Viper yet. On looks alone...I go Viper. On reputation...Lambo. Performance wise...Lambo...since the AWD does help. Value...Viper.

i agree with you about value. the viper is one hell of a value. i thought i never saw vipers, but i at least see them about once every six months.

The Dodge dealer near my home has two Vipers on the showroom. I initially thought the new Viper looked worse than it's predecessor from photos I had seen, but once I saw it in person it is an impovement IMHO.

As Lambos have no special appeal to me, and are generally even less of a "real car" than the Viper I would pick the VIper.

Personally I'd take the Viper, but the Gallardo is one hell of a car in it's own right. Just wait until the SRT-10 coupe comes out...
