Window help

Ok my friend has a 96 TSi and she wants me to fix her window because its off its track. Well it sounds simple enough but is their any tips or tricks you guys could tell me. Like what tools will I need and whats the best way to get the door cover off? Also once its open will it be a simple "just pop it back in" deal?

all u need is a philips screwdriver and thas about it. you have to remove a screw in the door handle and the theres some around the door and one in the arm rest once you remove all of that then u can jus yank on the door and pop here comes the dooor panel off the door. then to put the door back on align the clips on the dor hit the panel around to make sure u secure all of the clips and then put the screws back in ...... thas about all i can tell ya concernin the door
