Rims

I have a '98 Grand Prix GT 3800 series. It has a set of gold rims that came on the car. They are "ok", but I am wanting some new chrome ones. What do you suggest? Are there any rims out there for under $1000 for a whole set? They ant gotta be dubs are nothin but no smaller than 17's. Need some advise.
