Turn Signals

I have a 1995 Chevy Beretta. It seems that the right turn signal seems to have gotten stuck and the green arrow indicator for right turn is not blinking. The left hand turn signal works and blinks. Why would the left one blink and work but not the right one? It seems to have started today. Will this be an easy fix or an expensive one?

Do the right turn signals themselves (front and back) work?
Maybe it's just the green turn signal lamp that's burned out. Check to see if the turn signals themselves are working.
If not check and replace the bulbs the bulbs if necessary.
If they then work and the green arrow turn signal indicator still doesnt' work then replace the bulb in the dash.

The left turn signal works. The right one blinks slowly. About once every ten seconds.

Sounds like a bad ground wire or a shorted hot wire. Check the wires around the tail light and see if they are pinched anywhere.
If the tail light socket is rusted you should replace the socket.
If the left signal is working it shouldn't be the signal stat.

Perhaps you are not understanding me. The right turn signal blinks on my dash once every 10 seconds when I use it. The lights outside blink the same way.

It's probably still a bad ground wire.
Is the bulb blinking as bright as the left signal?
If not it is probably a bad ground wire.
Run a new ground wire to a good spot on the frame or bumper or where other ground wires are going.
Get a new socket. The sockets sometimes look good but the contacts in the bottom may not be touching the bulb contacts.

I don't know if you've solved your problem yet, but if the bulbs are all ok and the wiring, the only thing left would be the flasher unit itself. It's located under your dash on the drivers side and is usually round and an aluminum color. When this flasher unit goes out, it causes your turn signals and road hazard lights to malfunction.

Could be the wrong bulb for that car. Check the manufacuturing specks for the correct bulb number.
