I want to get a 16a for my 91 integra but i hear people saying it wont pass smog, or ill have to buy a whole shit load of stuff to make it pass. But then i heard people saying that in japan they have tougher smog laws then we do and the engine will pass smog, can someone with a swap in there car please help me out here. I just want to know will my car pass smog if i have a b16a in it, and if not what do i have to do to make it pass smog?

yes, that's true. if you live in california, this is the part where you'll start to whine... and get grouchy. one component that's needed to pass a smog test, is an OBD-II ecu. certain I/H/E's are 50 state legal. if you plan to swap, you will need to swap a motor the same year as yours or older.
