I bought a 99 Town & country 2 years ago. At that time it had 36k miles. Now at 78K miles.
I having a starting problem with the minivan. Turning the key to the starting position does nothing. Turning the key again to the starting position & it's starts.
I've bought the Chiltons paper back 20302 repair book. Looked through it with great interest. Van has a new battery 30 days ago. Suspect the ignition switch is faulty or the starter relay in the fuse block or bad wiring, maybe even the starter itself.
Not tested anything yet but worst senario could be the computer module.
For a minivan, it's been fun to drive but overall cost to repair about
$1,000 in the last 6 months. Nothing out of the usual although in repair.
Anyone have any previous starting trouble with there
Town & Country???

Your looking at one of two possible things...
1: Possibly your starter is going (especially if you hear clicking sound when trying to start)
2: Or more likely in your case... The ignition switch in the steering column is about to break (stop working)
Both these problems are common with these vans, I should know because they both broke in my van ;)
