Fuel Pump recalled in Canada

Did anyone in Canada ever receive their notification for recalling the fuel pump from Ford?

This recall is not in the Transport Canada database and I could not find any Ford Canada regarding this. I did not receive the notificaiton. When I call Ford Canada this morning they said they will cover the replacement of my fuel pump.

I almost got ripped off cause the dealer wants $90 to diagnose this even though the symptom of my car matches exactly with what the recall describes.

Just went through the pile of mail received today and found the notice from Ford Canada. It was sent Feb 26. Same deal as the US recall - one time replacement within 10 years.

The fuel delivery module is replaced but no mention about cleaning/flushing the fuel tank. Probably it is going to fail again.

I don't think I need another Ford.

we have a 2003 xz5 where can i go to find out about the recall. what kind of symptoms were the cars having? any info would help. thanks.
