I'm in dire need of a cheap but bareable car for the next 6 months while I save up for the money to do my Subaru WRX Twin Turbo Massive Conversation thingamabob... Oh and it will be sweet (25,000 bucks later...) So to conserve money I decided that I might do a little engine swap...
There's a '93 Del Sol for sale around here with a blown engine, about $400... All parts working fine, hail damage, nothing I can't live with...
I just totalled my 1990 civic, the poor thing slid out on ice... I was wondering how expensive, what I would need, and if it's possible for me to swap out my 1.5l into the del sol...
Any comments or redirects would be awesome...
Peace out

Where's the banging against the wall smilie???
D series, B series, H series, and K series (:D) engines will fit into the sol.. on a 93, the 1.5L from your civic will be a direct bolt in. Probably need new mounts, and I would get a new oil pan, timing belt, and water pump, just to be safe.
By the way, where's "around here"? *parts ho*
