I have a 1992 Maxima with all but the driver window that still works. Basically that cheap crappy ass plastic that clips on to the cable that lifts/lowers the window is busted and the glass window fell down. I currently have the 3 windows held up by steel wires until I can find an aftermarket place that sells these windows assemblies or a dealership that has some fairly priced ones.
Thanks,
Tommy

Yeah, my rear passenger's side window is messed up also. Try going to a junkyard to find a spare regulator part, then go to a mechanic and tell him to install the damn thing...should charge u about 50 bucks.
Here's a link to fixing the regulator by yourself, if it helps at all:

Oh, the mechanic can also rig the window to not open at all. This way, u wont have to put in a new regulator....but then, u cant open ur windows either.
P.S. I'm keeping my window up by jamming a small screwdriver between the door and the window, from the inside.
Goodluck!

haven't been able to find any aftermarket place that sells these assemblies! I guess I will have to wait a little longer! By using a screwdriver, were you able to put the interior trim back on the door or left the door exposed? Instead of using a screwdriver, I bought some heavy gauge wire to hold up the window. Also disconnected power to the window motor so no one will accidentally activate the motor and cause more damage!

UPdate. Finally found an online parts site which carries the windows regular parts!!! Site is called Parts train. Here is the direct link for the replacement assemblies. Much cheaper than OEM!!! Already ordered 4 of them to replace all 4 doors!
Front assemblies w/o motor runs $28 each. Rear assemblies w/ motor runs $70 each.
