Quick as a whisper

I realize many of you like the sports car sound, without sounding rice. I, however, have gotten a little older and like my stuff quiet. Ninja quiet. Which bring me to my question. I passed a Gen 4 Max last week with an bright chrome exhaust on it. I lowered the passenger side window to hear what it sounded like. Didn't hear a damn thing. That's what I want. I have an I30 and I want some upgrades but not at the cost of changing the sound of my near-luxury ride into a truck. What was it I wasn't hearing? Does anyone else have it? What kind of gain ya got? Help a brotha out!!

im just like you. i like a lil roar of the intake but nothing else, but i do not want to sacrifice performance.

i have a magnaflow straight-through muffler, its fairly deep, and a lil loud, but not too bad.

if you want a quiet one i know napa makes one, and you can throw a stainless steel tip on the end. not sure of many others, maybe someone else knows... i'd like to know of some other's too! 19 and im already so damn old wanting a quieter car............. :icon16:

i had a stillen cat-back that i really liked. very good tone. no rasping at all.
