guys,
Lately while driving in neighborhood streets my 92 max (with 131000miles) rpm starts pulsating and going up and down between 0 and 1200 2-3 times and then naturally stalls and it won't start again untill i give it a boost and let is run at about 2000/2500 rpm for few minutes. even then it might stall again few minutes later.
I have to say that this does not happens everyday, but now it is becoming more frequent.
Any ideas? please help?
Thanks
PS, my ABS light comes and goes sporadically as well, i wonder if that has anything with this, causing some electrical glitch?

could be maf sensor is dirty or needs cleaning. gotta take off the intake system (really not that hard, 10-15 min with screwdriver) and clean around the maf sensor. that might fix your stalling problem.
did you check your brake fluid?
did you check your brake fluid?

Yes i checkd the brake fluid, it was ok, I will be sure to try and clean the maf tonight but would a dirty maf create such violent rpm moves?
so to you it does not sound like an electrical problem or tune up issue?
I did the tune couple of years back.
Thanks

doesn't sound like electronical. yes a dirty maf could create a bad idling issue. if that doesn't work.... you said it happens while you're driving and stepping on the pedal, check your fuel pump. it really could be the fuel pump or a bad injector.
