90 Q45 Electrical Question

My recently purchased 1990 Q45 came with a couple of interesting electrical problems. (1), when I turn on the headlights, the clock stops. (2) When the headlights are on, the turns signals blink faster than normal. Left or right, no difference.

Any help is appreciated.

Disconnect the battery overnight and see if that resolves the problem.
