Have you heard about the friggin' North Koreans? They have essentially took the Diary of Anne Frank and twisted it to prove something. Something about us "American Nazis" being the reason that the world is such a war torn place. They have made it a requirement to read this book in school. And their teachers have brainwashed them into saying that they must start war with us and kill all of us in order to have world peace. these are 13 year old girls saying some of this!
I would gladly be an "American Nazi", and i would tell everyone of them that i was, women children and men with small weiners, Im and Amercian Nazi damnit and shoot them in the fucking head. And rape them, some of them are hot. but id still shoot them. God that pisses me off.

North Korea does seem to have some rather harsh policies towards its own citizens. And that whole Communist-State run media and education program can't be a good thing. It's basically an invitation to be a good Communist, or the opportunity to retire early from the breathing populous.

Folks, North Korea is significantly worse than a communist state. Its a dictatorship run by one man, who does not appear to be very stable. The government uses a 'cult of personality' that is the dictator is always right, infallible and to be worshipped. Dissent is forbidden and the government has killed and starved millions of its own people to maintain power.
Given this, one book slamming Americans is pretty far down the list of North Korean sins.

Rat's right. Read 1984 and then you can easily draw parallels to North Korea.
And in another way, modern America. But that's a whole other soapbox

North Korea is probably a bigger threat right now than Islamic terrorisim.
I can't be fucked elaborating.

"..significantly worse than a Communist state."
Regarding the suppression of free speech, the "dictator gone wild," etc. As near as I can tell, this is standard operating procedure for Communism: Cuba, U.S.S.R. (anybody else remember them?), North Viet Nam... China was a dictatorship in its Communist beginnings...I think they want to have modern-day capitalism in a Communist country. It's all deceit. I was in school with a Chinese refugee from 1994 to 2001, and he had many stories of recent violence and oppression. What I'm saying is that, off hand, I can't think of one Communist state where these problems don't exist. Usually, there's only one political party allowed, and only government-run media, and so on. And anyone who says that China is civilized needs to count the names of the people in jail for trying to exercise their religion or to speak out against Communism. However, I will concede that, among Communist countries, North Korea offers the greatest threat at present. Parmenides3

i was so about 2 say some George Orwell, but you took the words right out of my mouth Dave :p even wrote my 11th grade term paper about the parallels of 1984 and the United States O_o
but yeah i totally agree about what everybody's saying abuot North korea, i remember watching something on Channel One (a news program sent directly to high schools) where one of the anchors went to stay a little bit in North Korea, and i was shocked to find out that when everybody was walking around they had to smile-no matter what- or else they'd be punished severly...i think that it's quite scary and sad at the same time

Hogie: Over there the radios are fused so you can't tune them to other stations besides the state run one, and all that does is blast martial music and doctored news reports....
Apparently.

Who cares if they've got the fastest skyline? Not me. I feel that they currently pose a greater threat to the US than islamic terrorists, as someone stated before.

Camaro: It's in Japan. North Korea probably doesn't even have Skylines. They probably build their own shitty knockoffs of other cars and claim Kim Jong Il invented the car along with the plane, boats, space travel etc...

The "Democratic Republic Of North Korea" is a monarchy, Kim Jong took over from his father, and his sons will take over from him, when he dies.
True the U.S. has gone around kicking up shit all over the world, but to accuse the U.S. of being Nazi-like is silly, and down right rediculous when it comes from the number one worst country in the world.
