Type R Throttle Cable??

i installed a skunk2 manifold on my b18c and bought a type r throttle cable. the cable has too much slack in it, any suggestions?

cut it or find a shorter one :dunno:

also the gsr cat doesnt reach tne mid-pipe,theres a gap in between, any suggestions??
