S12 Help

I recently bought an '88 200sx hatchback that needs a lot of work. does anyone know where I can get parts like inside door panels, taillight covers, etc? Also, is any of the body sheet metal/bumpers interchangeable from an '84 hatch to my '88? I'm a newbie, so I was wondering if it is possible to put a turbo from an '85 Chrysler Laser onto my engine? If not, where can I get a turbo that fits for under $1000?

'84 to '88 is a big jump. The taillights were different, but as far as inside stuff, most stuff should be interchangable. What engine do you have in the '88? The V6 or the 4cyl? If it's the 6, then you would be one of the first to slap a turbo on, you could go with the t-25 or t3 like the Z31's...

It's the V6 SE model. Do you think that the older taillight covers will fit in my car, I think they look better and I can't find replacement cover anywhere. what do you mean by t-25 and t-3, I'm not familiar with turbos. The other thing is that I would have to pull the turbo off of one of my uncle's cars, it's been sitting for a while. I'm not really sure how to take it out.

About the lights...the older models had the reverse lights IN the bumper, not the brake lights, so that would take some tricky fun modding...

The stock turbo that came on the turbo 200sx is the Garrett T-2. the t-25 came on 87-88 300zx, and the t-3 came on the 84-86 300zx tubros (because of compression ratios and such...)

I have never taken a turbo off myself, but I'm sure there is someone that can help you with whatever car your uncle has...which is what btw? :)
