the cd changer has no power at all....as for the fuse...there is thisone fuse that keeps blowing everytime i try replacing it...it's for the interiorlights, power antenna and the door chime...could it be the samefuse for the cd changer?

It is possible, there could be something (possibly the cd changer that is shorting it and blowing the fuse)

hmmm that's true...i guess i'll have to start the process of elimination to find out what is blowing the fuse...i really wish the damn changer would work though :( if by some chance it's not the fuse, would it be possible that the changer isn't hooked up? if so, where is the cd changer suppose to hook up to? earlier today i did notice (with my top up) a wire coming from the passenger side of the top...it stops at about 4 inches from where it starts....could this be something with the changer? if so....how would i hook it up to something if it's so short? thanks for the help.

Any thing is possible, it could not be hooked up. The cd changer should go to the cd deck (i think).
One question where did you get your car back from in oct, what were they working on?
Is there a power wire or a wire harness going into the cd changer itself?

"well ever since i got the car back in oct. it has never worked"......when i said that, i meant when i first got my car...back in october...and as for the power wire, there is something under the passenger seat that looks like an amplifier (pretty sure it's not) that has a wire coming from it and instantly goes under the carpeting...that might be it...as for that wire i explained earlier (the one coming from the top)...i have no idea what that is for. i'm thinking it has something to do with the changer

it's located in the trunk on the passenger side enclosed in a black fuzzy case.

yes that is an amp under your passenger seat... and that wire, is it all by itself? if so i would fallow that closely to see if it is shorted out somewhere! does your CD player even work? need a little more info... thanks!

Try pulling the power from the cd changer in the trunk and see it that fuse keeps shorting out

yeah my cd player works but it's a bitch to get it to work...it seems to only play the cds that it likes...and plays them when it feels like playing them...and yeah it looks like the wire is just by itself
