Where can a guy find a wiper switch for an 89 escort with intermittant and tilt wheel . Ford says they are no longer available. Any helpers out there?

Junkyard. There are a number of places online that you can visit and likely find the part too. Simple enough to go to a Pick-N-Pull and get it yourself. Much cheaper that way.
