I just got my shifter installed and i noticed that my reverse lights did not come on... I know that JoeWagon (i think it was you) said that this could happen. I want to know why it is like this? Are there more of you that this has happen too? Is there a way to fix it?
I dont want to crash... and then the police to notice that my reverse lights were the cause. :nono:
Thanks In Advanced

I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but it's not an uncommon problem.
There is obviously a connector that detects the shift to reverse. It isn't picking up the shift with the new shifter, so at least take a look at the switch. (if you can find it)

the connection is on the tranny... there is a chance that it could have came loose or got pinched somehow, so go check if any of the wires comming off the tranny are pinched! good luck
