Should i buy it?

Hi guys! I've never posted here but i just ran across a truck i'm pretty sure i'm going to buy. Keep with me please , the only other car i have ever owned is my 90si, so i dont know too much about fords. The truck is a 88 f-150 efi 2wheel drive with 46*** on it and has just had a major tune-up and clutch and starter put into it. The old owner is a older woman who didnt drive it much, and there is a small spot of rust on the passenger door. The interior is in perfect order and the outside has no dents or scratches. Its pearl white with spots of what looks like black paint on the front, it looks like it was accidental. The guy i'm buying it from wants 500 bucks. What do you all think? :)

That sounds really cheap, almost too good to be true. I'd be suspicious that something was majorly wrong with it, but you never know, maybe you just found a really great deal. Just approach it like any other auto purchase and get it checked by a trustworthy mechanic, etc. Good luck!

It's worth that much in parts!!

I have a 4.9 liter and it runs strong. Just be careful about any tricks becasue that seems mighty cheap for being that nice.
