looks good, but the motor looks crooked and why do the rims stick out that far from the inside of the tire?
never seen that before.

the engine is meant to be crooked, but the inlet plenum isnt, i accidently made it like that. as for the wheels, im putting extra rims on the outside to make them deep dish wheels, and i havent cut the inside yet.

cool. But, is this the 'drift' r32 that you have under next project in your sig?
I think the oil cooler is fine, and yes the RB has a lean, I don't think it's that much, but has a lean nonetheless.

i dont really know if i put the engine in at the right angle, but i think it looks alright. and yes, this was going to be my drift r32, but its turned out different to how i planned, and i forgot i wrote that in my sig.

I was gona say, the only ways for a skyline GTR to drift are high speed drifts, were all the power is sent to the rear-wheels. Low speed, the fronts are still engaged, plus you gotta figure in the HICAS rear wheel steering system.
All in all, it's coming out cool.

i think ill paint it a bit darker then the bayside blue, or i might just paint it yellow. im still unsure, but i still have to finish sanding the body anyway. then theres the interior to do....anyone have any suggestions? i think ill just do completely stock, with red painted seats.

ive finally finished this gtr. the pics are pretty bad quality, so ill try to get some better ones. the paint was a cheap $2 can, but in real life it looks pretty good.

A little confusion. The Skyline is strictly RWD until it's senses slippage in the rear wheels then the torque is transferred to the front wheels accordingly. So at low speed the GT-R is RWD. If you pitch the GT-R sideways at high speed it will powerslide but not long enough for a typical drift as the power to the ground will engage the AWD just as the car rotates in the slightest. The same as it would in a turn only more dramatic. The only thing carrying the car in a powerslide is the power of the car, heft of the car and the forces of nature. Being a heavy car the GT-R is an open track racer, which it's dominant at. Opposed to a tight Touge run where light and balanced cars (like the AE86) are the car of choice.
Drifting a GT-R requires disabling the front wheels (which is done by pulling a fuse) or take out the front axle shafts. I would also assume you have to deal with the front differential as well.
Sorry for the long-winded response geedup. Good build. Always like to see Skylines.

Nice detail. Looks good but...
Is the oil cooler suppose to have an inlet and an outlet??

it actually has an outlet now, but, does anyone know where the outlet is meant to connect to?
