GST vs. SRT

I was on my way home and their was a brand new dodge SRT riding my bumper so I kicked it down and he pulled into the other lane next to me, I hit third gear and nosed ahead of him and when I hit fourth I pulled a car lenght in front. After that he gave up. What I wanna know is are those SRT's fast? I was told that they run a 14 sec 1/4 off the floor.

He must have not been tryin or he was an auto.

I could tell he was tryin, i'm assuming that either it was an automatic or he cant drive a manual that good.

i think a GS-T can take those out for real. That driver musta ben smokin, because i hear those SRT-4s are pretty quick.

I doubt it was an auto, unless he converted it. They only make 5 speeds for the SRT. 0-60mph in 5.8 off the floor. And top out around 150mph. There are starting to become numerous SRT's in the low 5 range. Especially the 04's they have a Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) differential that can relly get the power to the ground.
