1993 Camry A/C & Heater Problems

I have a 1993 Camry XLE and the Heater Temp control does not control the air temp. Valve controlling the fluid to the heater core can manually be worked to control the temp. In addition the A/C has stopped working. Blower works fine. I have checked all fuses and they appear ok.

At first I just suspected that the Heater temp control module will have to be replaced but now the A/C not working is confusing me.

Maybe there is a problem with the temperature adjust cable that's attached to the back of the climate control panel. Also, you air conditioner could possibly need recharged with a good ol' can of refrigerant.
