Bose sound system info, cerca 1989

im looking for any and all info on the BOSE system offered in the camaro in 1989. i have found out my IROC originaly had it, but now has pioneer 6x9in speakers in the sail panels and an alpine head unit. and some sort of crap speakers that barly put out sound from under the dash. Im pretty sure whoever took my sixway power adjustable driver seat also stripped the bose system out. From what i have seen, the bose system had no speakers in the locations that now have speakers, rather speakers in the kick panels, and two speakers in a storage compartment lid in the back. but i have yet to see what these look like, or any information about speaker size, power rating, sound range, and the like. i sat in an '88 vette with the system today, and was very impressed. so im on the fence as to wheather to build a custom sony xplod system, or restore my car to the factory bose system. any info would be greatly apriciated.

Um.........I have the Bose speakers in my GTA but I don't really know the specs anymore. I think they were 300 watt speakers, I believe there are two speakers on each side right past the head of driver and passenger. Tell ya what, I'll go try and find the info on the GTA and get back to you on this post. The specs of course should match your IROC

dude go to the bose website and email them all your questions. that's what i did for my 94 and they answered everything that i asked and then some. just tell them what you got and what you want to know and they'll hook you up...

i go with the custom sony job myself.
