B.O.V. connection

I have a talon TSI AWD with a greddy (i guess TYPE-S) b.o.v. and I want a louder noise on it, is a good idea disconect the big hose that is entering to the b.o.v.?, that will make a louder noise?, I'm thinking to put a doble intake, (thats an idea of my father and I) And I think that will work pretty good, I will try that and then I tell you ;-)
