k, finally found it, and got around to taking it out. it doesnt really look like a sensor, it looks like a tube that broke off. its all rigid and black. thinking i need a new one. aprox cost????

I paid about 40 for bosch w/ harness.... a bit cheaper if you buy the one without the connector and just crimp the wires. This was at Napa

try cleaning it with carb cleaner first. It just looks like a stub.

i just went out and got a new one, 30 bucks at a local owned shop, the old one was completely broken off, looks about half the size of the new one, i can tell a big difference in the potential horsepower too since i just put the new sensor, rotor, dis. cap, and plug wires on. runs more efficiently and smoothely. oh man, i didnt put all the wires on right the first time, i put them on the wrong plugs for the dis. cap, and they engine was shaking like mad and the car was shaking, im like, WTF. then i switched em, and it was all good again

yea that really sucks but the wires kinda go where they fit length-wise.
