Maintance Light....need help

A friend of mine has a 2002 Civic Si and the maintance light keeps blinking. He had the required maintance done, but it keeps blinking. Will just resetting the ECU take care of it or is there something else he has to do?? Thanks.

did he have the maintenance done at a dealer? they should have reset the light for him.... if not, resetting that light is a liability if you havent done the maintenance. otherwise how to reset it is in the owners manual somehwhere........
