Now the stereo's display shows "2222"
No sound or other responces from the stereo.
Punched a bunch of buttons etc.

i think that has something to do with a radio lock or something. call your dealer, i think they are the only ones who can fix it.

This is an easy problem to resolve. These radios allow for up to 3 codes to be input into the radio. If a incorrect code is input then all you need to do is press and hold the band button for 3-5 seconds. This should reset the radio and the word code should appear. If you need the correct radio code call 1-800-633-5151. This is the Hyundai Consumer Affairs Department and they will assist you in finding the serial number for the radio. If this is not available they will guide you thru the manual decode process for which you will want to be with the veh. I hope this helps!!!

P.S. dont call the dealer for this service they will probably charge you for the service, Call consumer affairs they will help you and will not charge you!
