After reading and posting in this forum I'd like to take a poll on which everyone prefers the best carbs or EFI.

Totally depends on what it is for.

The only reason you have to go carb is lack of funds or class restrictions for racing, other than that EFI makes more power, it runs smoother, you have smoother throttle response, it's just all around better.

Its also harder to change the air flow in a EFI In carb it doesn't matter.

But I will stick with EFI due to better economy and the computer makes more effecient use of power anyway.

IF the car came stock with a carb keep it that way. If it came stock wit EFI keep it that way! If you modify the shit out of it EFI if you have the cash cause it's better!!!!! If you don't have the cash carb it still makes good power. Also carb will always sound better when getting on it IMO

I'm far from a pro but I'm not 100% positive that I agree.

I'm pretty sure a STOCK EFi'd 5.0 makes MORE power in carb form then EFI form. Granted EFI is more "streetable" but I think carb has quicker throttle response. But I'll agree that EFI throttle response is probably smoother.

Also, the most important issue, gas mileage:p
