throttle body temp sensor

I would like to know some of the principles for the throttle body temp sensor.

it measures the temperature of the incoming air with a temperature sensitive resistor. it works with the maf(mass air flow sensor) to calculate the air density coming into the engine. basically the O2 sensors monitor the air leaving the engine and the iat& maf monitor air going in. the computer uses this information along with throttl position(tps) and engine coolant temperature(cts) to pulse the injectors and get a stoiciometric ratio(remember physics) about 14.7:1 . i'm not sure if this was the answer you were looking for it seems every year they add different sensors to make engines more efficient.
