new dubcity lexus, need ideas

i got a new dubcity lexus sc430 today, very similar to gafotos, only different wheels and its kind of a pearly creamy white color. very pretty. i dont have pics yet, but i will tonite probly.

I have no idea what to do to it, cuz the interior is already pretty detailed, and the sound system is pretty nice already. I have new wheels coming, so i cant do those yet.

I had an idea to chop the top and make a convertable out of it, but i dont know how, and i dont know if it would look good. Or maybe gullwing doors, but i dunno how to do those either.

Any suggestions? thanks a bunch

i was thinkin about gettin tha lexus too. but i decided against it. to chop tha top, you can use a dremel, or a jewlers saw and just mark where you want to cut out tha top section and get to cutting. ive seen a chopped top dub escalade, and it didnt look to bad, actually pretty cool. as for gulwing doors. i know how to get them to open up, the only problem is getting them to stay open, i have yet to figure out a way to keep them open. if you want some directions just say so and when i get some more time and put them here if you would like them. something that is much easier and will also look good, is suicide doors. that is considerable easier.

here is what you do for suicide doors. sorry but i have no pics. and i am doing this write up in a hurry

1-cut off hing (arm) attached to the door
2-make a little square in the plastic on the door at the same level as the one that is allready there
3-solder or weld the arm so that it looks like this

4- cut the 2 cylinders off that the door screws into(located at the front of the door frame, just under the hood)
5- relocate them to behind the doorframe inside the car
6- solder or weld them into place

and your done. sorry but i was in a hurry to write this up. i hope it helps a little

in that picture, it shows how to mount the arm to the door, tha door is not attached in that picture, but you get tha point. ill have to get a picture of where to mount the cylinder that the door arm screws into.

ya, that helps...i may work on that later.

Would i have to sand it down and repaint it like that? or could i do it without damaging the paint?

also, i took some pictures of it last night, ill get those posted in a few hours. I couldnt resist turning it into a lowrider, so i took the wheels of a lowrider '61 impala and put them on. It looks really good, so i think im gonna keep em.

So the pics with the chrome wheels is how it came, and the ones with the spokes is how it is now.

you wouldnt have to sand it down and repaint it. he just did that so he could paint it a different color. and you can do it without damaging the paint.

you could add some white trunk. i dont know about those low-rider rims on an import. i think some black and chrome wheels like this http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421460166/0.jpg . you should do that to the stock rims. i think it would go good with tha rest of tha car. but its up to you

i may paint a set like that, i have a ton of those particular wheels, but i still like the lowrider wheels...
