...is anyone else getting pissed off by the seemingly growing and never-ending stream of maxi-pad commercials?
The women have their whole own freakin network and yet they still show these commercials everywhere! I don't want to hear about that crap!! I've even seen a couple on Spike, "The first network for men"...

You know the only good one I remember for "those" kinds of commercials was where there was a football game in the corner of the screen they should do that at all time when that shit comes on.

Wouldn't be like toilet paper and you would be brand-loyal or something and get the same brand every time?
But we all know that JDM spec toilet paper is more reliable.

I look at all femine hygene products the same way. I know they exist but I don't want to hear about their existence.

Is there that much of a difference in maxi pads/tampons that the companies have to put all that money into advertising? Maybe it's because I'm a guy and I don't understand, but would a commercial really open your eyes to a new brand or something? Wouldn't be like toilet paper and you would be brand-loyal or something and get the same brand every time? Or how much can they improve on maxi pads/tampons that there seems to be some improvement in every new product? I don't know, maybe somebody could compare this with something that I am more familiar with than feminine hygeine products.
Well... that's kinda like Coke and Pepsi. You'd think that by now people KNOW what Coke and Pepsi are, yet they probably spend the most money on advertising than any other companies. Same with McDonalds. No corporation is (or ever will be) satisfied unless they can show financial growth, and the only way to do that is to get more customers. They're never going to say "hey... we've got pretty much everone buying our products... lets just sit back and relax."
As far as tampon commercials go, I don't particularly mind them, although I could certainly do without them. Just another product forced down our throats.

Actually, YES there is a difference. And YES there have been TREMENDOUS improvements in the last bunch of years. If you'd like me or the other ladies to elaborate, just ask.

Yeah, but I can still use feminine napkins at the dinner table though right? What's so special about women that they get their own napkins?!
