When I turn the hazard lights on, the lights all around and
on the car comes on and then when I clicked the turn signals up and down the lights
doesn't seem to work. I checked the flasher, that wasn't the problem,
and I replaced the combination switch and that wasn't the problem
either, therefore I wanted to know if you had any idea what it could be?
Also, I wanted to know if you had an electrical Diagram for the 96"
Mercury Villanger, if so could you e-mail me a copy? On the other
hand, I wanted to know how many flashers do this car have and where
would they be located?

Hey Tech N,
If I were you i would go here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2462757940&category=34228
There on Ebay I bought a complete service manual on CD for $9.00 + shipping. Worked great for me!

Have you checked all the turn signal bulbs?
One of mine in the rear with a dual filament bulb that was crossed and cause all
sorts of strange turn/brake/parking light issues...
Once i changed that bad bulb...all was better!
It seemed that one filament over heated/worn out...and drooped on to the other....causing a short.

Hi,
Check the HAZARD SWITCH! Sounds weird but all power for the turn signals runs through the hazard switch. Mine was worn internally. I fixed it by cleaning the connections inside the switch. You can short across the switch to test it.
