Misfire at mid range

Experiencing a misfire on my '92 MX6 when accelerating through 1, 2, 3. Ok when car is cold but instantly noticable aa soon as the engine gets hot. It's ok on tickover but it's when the engine is under load that the problem occurs. Any ideas please.
