save some money and get yourself some DC sports at least, all those cheap brands will rust in the UPS truck coming to your house.

You can usually get DCSport headers for right around $300 shipped... so just save for an extra couple of weeks, or work some overtime. :bigthumb:

i've had 2 chikara headers and they've both began to rust....like they said....get the dc sports or I've also heard that Bisimoto makes a great header for hondas. Try to get something that has a uniform size throughout the whole header and stay away from those 4:1 headers...they don't do our hondas any good unless ur running some VERY high HP numbers.

The Bisimotos are the best, but they cost over $600.
Whatever you get, I recommend getting a ceramic coating. I've had headers (that's plural, since they were on my 1973 Oldsmobile with a 455) and if they're not ceramic, the heat melts every wire and device in sight.
I paid about $150 for mine from a cheapie eBay company...your stock exhaust manifold has two other places where it mounts to the car, and the header I bought didn't have those...which meant I got some noisy vibration. Even if you buy a cheapie, make sure it has at least one other mounting point in addition to where it attaches to the head and the exhaust pipe.

Don't even waste your money if you're going to go cheap on a header.

i suggest a chikara tork-step. for $189, and with features like an H pipe and stepped primaries, you cant beat it

Sometimes if you look around you find deals. My first header was 90 bucks. It was a generic 4-1 that I had to weld the 02 bung on, but it was cool for lapping days since I was always up in the high RPM's. About a half a year later I came across a used DC 4-2-1 header with heat wrapping for about the same price. I switched to that and in the end it worked out alot better. Alot of the heat wrap fell off but I really don't care. I sold the 4-1 to someone else who was on a really tight budget since it was better than nothing so they were happy to have it. So shop around you never know what you might find.
