I bought the halo projector headlight about 3 months ago and It seems that one of the halos is broken. I just noticed it and what it did was it flickered for a couple of minutes then just went out. If anyone can help me on what the problem is please do. Thanx

LOL...that's funny shit Ricochet...there have been a crazy amount of halo posts lately.

anyways, yes, if you got gen3's, that's part of your problem, they are a POS. Anyways, it is possible the wiring it loose somewhere, maybe a bend, etc. I have known of this being the case before with halo's, where there was a loose connection in the halo wiring, and it needed to be stripped and re-crimped. If they are Gen3's though, yes, those have nothing but problems and are a POS...you're lucky your actual headlights still work if they are gen 3's.

I am willing to guess you have Gen 3 halo projectors or something similer. Gen 3's suck, and all these problems are very commen to gen 3 projectors.

yeah, i think so..

If you replace them with a different set of Halo's, don't get GEN 3 under any circumstances (I have found lots of ebay ones tend to be gen 3). I haven't personally heard of that many problems with Denji projector/halo's.

yeah, I'm almost positive they're gen 3's because I can slightly remember the box, and for some reason I think I can remember saying Gen 3 on it, but yeah, I regret getting them now....friggin POS lights...

If they say sonar on them anywhere on the headlight cover, they are gen 3's for sure.

yup they're definitly gen 3's I kept a piece of the box. whats the best way to seal them to keep water out? I got alot of condensation on the inside of them this winter.

just take a tube of clear silicon and run a thick bead around the headlights. Make sure you dry out the inside of them first though.

Yea, take some clear silicon and run a bead around the outside...of ourse, as GScivic7 said, make sure you dry them out first. As for 1 out of 3 halo's working, etc...that's just good ol gen 3 qaulity....not really sure what to say. You can check the wiring, make sure nothings loose, etc. I know loose wiring around the resistor has caused halo problems with halo's in the past. Other than that...I don't know what to say other than they're gen 3's, so the qaulity is low. Also, I know running high beam's has in some cases fired the wiring inside gen 3's, rendering the lighting useless. Just keep that in mind, and good luck with it all.

Anywhere. Just look for some clear RTB(?) silicone and your set. Shouldn't cost more than $5 a tube I would guess. I dunno, my dad stocks up on chaulk and silicone like there's no tomorrow.

Yea, you can get it pretty much anywhere. A hardware store like ace, lowe's, or home depot should have it...I don't know, a car parts store might...never really looked for it there.
