Can any one tell me how to safely removed the emblem on the doors of 02 Tahoe?
I would like to remove the ones on both driver and passenger side door and the one on the back lid. To me, they looked like glued on but not for sure, I don’t want to mess up the paint or body.

I've read posts in the past that stated using fishing line to get in behind of the emblem and using a sawing motion separate the emblem from the body. Then clean up any residual adhesive with some type of adhesive/bug/tar remover.

I see the picture, thank you.
So, does this mean it's a stick -on type that does not have the post(s) like the older type of emblems ?

You need to apply some kind of direct heat before you use the fishing line. Like a hair dryer or something.

They stick on. Heat and fishing line will fix you up.

Just saw the fishing line removal method on TLC's "Rides" TV show this week. Very easy trick!
