Would you buy this ITR?

Would you buy the ITR offered on the following site? www.mobile.de/cgi-bin/search.pl?CountOff=13&DataNr=11&DisplayDetail=24829095&DoSearch=1&FormCategory=0&FormColor=%2e%2e%2ebeliebig&FormDate=0&FormDurchmesser=0&FormEZ=%2d&FormKilometer=%2d50000&FormLand=%2e&FormMake=17&FormModel=Integra&FormPLZ=&FormPower=%2d&FormPrice=%2d&FormSort=0&Page=0&SearchCat=bereich%3dpkw%26sprache%3d1&bereich=pkw&sprache=1&x=28&y=13

(Adress is a bit long I guess!:D ) Okay, at first itīs way to expensive for me in the moment but I`m sure that nobody will pay the money heīs asking for it so Iīd guess itīll become cheaper in some weeks. Mods are a street-legal group A exhaust system, anti-roll-cage (??), IDOL alloy coilover system (the hole car is modified by Idol-Motorsport. They do races with their ITRs and turboed NSX), 16" or 17" BBS rims (not sure about size and brand), carbon sport seats,...
What do you think about it? I think he has raced it a lot but normally that shouldnīt be a big problem for an ITR!.... and itīs white. Would you buy the car if it becomes cheaper, letīs say like 16000 to 20000 euros?
(Iīm not really thinking about buying that car but I just want to know your opinion about it! Thanx in advance!)

Seems very expensive but the car looks fantastic. The fact that he raced it would make me think twice about buying it. I would make sure that I had someone who knows integra's to check over everything to make sure it's ok. You can never be too careful.

If it was cheaper and the engine and everything else was ok, I would definately buy it.

That car looks very good. Seems to be in perfect condition. If the price comes down I would really think about buying it (if I were looking for one that is:D ). But like 00'Civic SR said, check the engine. BTW: I didn't know an ITR had that much hp...

Wow that's a nice car, I would have a hard time staying cool if I was in the market for one of those. If I was gonna check it out I would just smile from ear to ear :D
But like said before, the fact that it has been raced would make me think twice, check out the engine thoroughly and check if all the body panels match up right, stuff like that. If everything is cool and the price is right then definitely go for it!
Nice rims BTW, look more like 18's to me!

Nice rims BTW, look more like 18's to me! No, they arenīt 18". Iīd guess that they are 16" because Iīve talked to the owner of Idol-Motorsport (who has modified this car) about two years ago and they are using 16" on most of their ITRs because they are better for the handling compared to 17" or 18".
I donīt worry that much about the engine because an ITR is built to be driven hard so Iīm sure it can handle it. And it seems to be in a very good condition. But itīs just too expensive in the moment. By the way, it has got a ap 4 caliper brake system in the front, too! Forgot to say that.:) Personally I like it very much but like Iīve already said itīs too expensive!:(
Thanx for the replies!

If it goes down to the prices you mentioned earlier, iw ould consider it, but for the moment, no way!

Take also a look at this one:

Van Dessel Integra (http://home.mobile.de/cgi-bin/kdsearch2.pl?CountOff=231&DataNr=85&DisplayDetail=23992344&DoSearch=1&FormSort=2&KundenHomePageFlag=1&Page=1&SearchCat=bereich%3dall%26titel%3d&bereich=all&bgcolor=cccccc&kundennr=513383&sort=2)

Itīs not bad except this useless VTEC-controller and the side-skirts but it already has got too many kilometers on it! Thanx for the link anyways!:)

Like all the others said, it's a very nice car! The only 'problem' is you don't know how long the car will keep it's good condition. racing with a car is much more harder for a car than normal work to home driving (I don't think you always drive at top speed, cornering, curb(?)stones...)

Iīve found another car which Iīm going to buy on monday! But itīs not an ITR. Itīs a black y2k Prelude with the 2.2i DOHC VTEC engine with 200hp. It has got air-conditioning and the rest is stock. The reason why Iīm going to buy a Lude instead of an ITR are:
1.) lower insurance costs
2.) nearly the same power
3.) Prelude is more elegant and doesnīt look that agressive
4.) more luxury
.....
I still like the ITR very much but Iīve asked myself if I really need a "race-car" as a daily-driver in the last days.

Congratulations with your new lude. That's the version with 4ws isn't it? That really feels nice. I like the shape of it 2. Post some pics when you have it.

Iīm not sure about the 4WS because itīs not in the Prelude brochure. I hope everything is going to be fine. The dealer told me that he will put the car away for me till monday so that Iīll have some days to think about it! But I already know that I will buy it. I will defintly post some pics when I have it. Call me stupid but I still dunno how to post pics. Iīve never done it before! :D Future plans are strut tower bars, H&R springs with Koni yellows (again, but I like this setup), shaved emblems except of the H-badges and a new intake system (thinking about AEM CAI but still not sure about the engine safety!!! And they arenīt street-legal over here!), clear turning signals (??) and thatīs it at first.

Nice!!
Good choice, for everyday street use a prelude might be better, you've got a point there.
Well...it's monday, have you bought it? :D

Well...it's monday, have you bought it? :D The dealer will call me till 6 oīclock today to tell me a new price because Iīve told him that itīs too expensive! But it will be alright. The problem is that I have to pick it up in Augsburg which is about 6-7 hours away from my place depending on traffic and weather, too. So I will get my new baby in the next days.
