Check engine light

Hi,
We have a 2000 Dodge Durango and the check engine light has come on. We read about the ignition switch "trick" to get the code and were wondering if anybody knows what the code P 0700 means.

We got it taken care of. This board is great. Some reading, 30 minutes under the truck, and $11 later the broblem is fixed. Turned out to be the speed sensor. Since it has two and we had no way of telling wich one went bad we replaced both. After about 3 miles of driving the check engine light went out and the truck shifts just fine now.

How do you get the error code? My 2000 Durango, transmission is in the limp mode (only goes into 2nd gear), and the engine light is on (it came on the day before the transmission wouldn't come out of second gear). I would like to know how to get the error code.

Do you mind if I ask you something, what kind of erratic shifting were you getting? I'm having some hard shifting problems on my 98 Durango and was thinking may be the same fix as yours. Also where are this 2 speed sensors located on the durango? and how did you ordered them. Thanks in advance for the help.
