Maxima upgrade question

Is there an ECU upgrade for 4th gen. Maximas?:confused: or computer chip?:confused: or what is the most effective upgrade under $500:confused:

UPRD makes a ECU for 95-96. If you have a 97, you can use a 95 ECU (As long as you dont have OBDII). The ECU is about $450-$500. Its on the main www.maximadriver.com homepage.
JWT also makes a ECU for 95-96. The same thing applies for 97 owners. The going price is $600+.
There are no ECU upgrades for 98-99.
THe only other company is Jet. This is a company we like to stay away from. :)

hey bro. you don't want to change ECUs/chups unless you have forced induction (i.e. turbo/SC) where you would have different air/fuel ratios.
