To do a easy burn out? well if you want to ruin your car a little and do i nice one, take it up to red line( press gas to 6-7000, depending on your car) and put the car in 1st and release the clutch and keep the rpms at 6-7000.

If your good enough you can move forward going though the gears and keep the burn out going, i can do one into 4th with my si :sunglasse

you dont need to go to 6k rpm...rev it up to about 3 or 4 k and left off the clutch...dont let it slip.... just let off it..... either way it will be hard on your clutch........

You know how a person with a manual tranny can "roll" back and forth? take the car up to 1500-2500 and let the clutch out just a little to where it just barly engages the engines and where u start to rock back and forth or slowly creep forward then push the clutch in a little and you slowly creep back, then when you see green hit the gas and let off the clutch simutaneously(sp)

:note this takes pratice and you may stall the first few times, but keep practicing :)

always did a burn out dumping the clutch somewhere around 5-6k. if ur wanting a better take off at the track u can hold your ebrake up at the light, hold the rpms up(all dependant on your set up) let the clutch out a little till it grabs ever so slightly....on green just let the clutch go. you shouldnt have to much of traction problems gettin those big 17's goin compared to 16's or even 15's.

Traction isn't too bad w/ the 17's but I can get pretty good traction with the 14's actually cuz my 17's are so heavy in the long run it hurts the times cuz my 14's weigh much less. BTW just testing my new sig also to see if those annoying ass Quizno's monkeys come up, lol.

They remind me of the squirrel from threebrain.com "mutherfuckin'-weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" :smokin:

oh yeah...and go practice on a backroad with your burnouts...Put on some shitty tires first tho and don't do it to a new clutch.

For faster takeoffs during racing, rev the engine, drop the clutch and go. Let me tell you though, you don't want to burn out while racing, you will probably lose. You want the tires to grip the ground as much as possible so that you take off like a bullet. For that, I would recommend BFGoodrich drag radials. The dot approved for street driving, but as sticky as slicks. You will not burn rubber, you will smoke your opponent. I would also recommend getting a stage 2 clutch. Your stock clutch was designed for smooth driving, not racing. Spend the extra money and get a clutch that can take the abuse and smile

i just crack the ebrak rev it to bout 5 or 6 grand pop the clutch and hold it bout 5 or 6, ive hit the rev limiter a few times, i can usually get it into 2nd. If you do it right you can do sum stuff like this :naughty: :evillol:

If you just want to do a big burnout (ie not for racing) pour some old transmission fluid in front of the wheels, it works great. We did it with my friends dodge colt automatic (slowest car i have ever been in) and it stood still burning out.

I have also heard of people using bleach as well, but I have never tried it.

^^^^ if u want that u could also use bleach. it will dry your tires out and emit toxic fumes but you will sure get a huge display of smoke :D

Sounds good, I'll have to try it sometime with some shit tires
