before i start this thread..i want to opoligize about the curse words....if you find them offencive...im sorry:

About a year ago i got a paintball gun...along with ALL my other friends...except one...we have been playing alot with each other and really like it, but recently, its become a problem.
one of my friends is buying a 400 dollor fucking gun and claims that "it coul.d whoop my tippmann anyday!" (just to let you know, i have a tippmann 98 custom with about 400 dollars invested in it[yes, $400, the biggest mistake ive ever made])... then i have another friend whos mom buys him a fucking angel (for those of you who dont know angels are the best guns made and are like $1500)...this is the one kid who didnt get one in the first place and who had never played at all...fucking bitch he is! well, anyway, the kid whos buying the 400 dolla gun is on the other kids side, saying, "he has a fucking angel, you have a tippmann with CO2"...yes he does make fun of me cuz i dont use "nitro" as he calls it (compressed air)....he also says that their making a paintball team at our local field for a tournament and im not on their team because "my gun sucks"...this kid with the angel thinks he knows everyhting about paintball when in reality knows nothing and is a spoiled bitch!

i used to play paintball (havent lately because it costs to much money and i want my 300zx), and all i had was a stingray 2 and i beat people all the time. you might have a good gun, but if you cant aim and dont know how to move about the course, then you wont be good.

i hate spoiled kids. Especially those high school girls with their brand new Mustang GT's. Pisses me the fuck off.

Dude, be glad you aren't part of a team that won't let you in because "your guns sucks". I have a fucking stingray 2 (with a longer barrel), loudest, ugliest cheapest motherfucking piece of crap. Although I don't claim to be the best, i still regularly take out people with those $2000 spray-n-pray guns. They are a waste of paint and money anyway.

I Used to play talon against the spiders and tippmanns. Sounds like your doin the same thing in a higher class. Some of the expensive guns can hit anything, but it's not paintball if you just unload. Why would you wana be on a team with a bunch of brainless money melters anyway?

Back when I played paintball (before it sold out) I had a fully auto Angel one of those ones that cost $1500 (cousin bought it for me for 18th birthday) Yes, I knew I had a weapon of mass destruction in my hands, but I didn't go spouting my mouth off about it like a little prick. Unlike this douchebag you speak of, I appreciate what I have and don't brag about it. I quickly got bored with paintball and sold the Angel to make a dent in my college tuition. :sadwavey: End of Story.

If i were you i would let him form his wimpy team, then have your team play his and just destroy them.
I just bought an ICON Z, electronic trigger, single, burst and fully auto, drop forward ect. Its interchangeable with any spyder part. I like it but it need a better barrel

i love paintball and play all the time.i have a 2 tippys, best frickin guns on the market, an a-5 with response and warp feed, carbon fiber bolt and few other goodies. and my favorite 98 custom with sniper fx stock flatline barrell telescoping bipod sling electric trigger. if you havent shot the flatline. you need too. if you have the flatline, there is no gun on the market that can get the distance and accuracy of the flatline. on a calm day, i can hit a telephone pole at 100 yards 9 out of 10 times. i used it for rec ball. i wanted to stay loyal to tippmann so i got the a-5 for speed ball. i am on a team and other guys have angel, 2 cockers and a mag. i get far more kills with my a-5

also tippmans are far more consistent on c02 then nitrogen

Hey, while we are on the subject, I have a POS version for like $60 at Wal-Mart and whenever I play balls always burst in my barrel. Is this from a shitty gun, shitty conditions, or shitty balls? All I can say is that it is pretty frustrating when you are in a firefight and a ball breaks in your barrel... it sucks. Maybe I should invest in better balls?

Haha, this is the most common thing to hear about paintball... the kids with all the expensive guns making fun of those of us that cant afford to have "the best".

This is kind of like my story, I bought a Stingray II off my buddy for a whopping $25!... I refuse to pay 400+ dollars for some fancy ass gun... waste of money, I used to slaughter all my friends with the fancy shmancy 400 dollar guns, its not how much you pay for your gun, its how you use it, which is something most people dont no how to do, they rely on the spray and pray method...yes you may be able to shoot 10 balls a second, but how many are actually going to hit someone standing behind a tree?? my gun shot maybe 4 per second if i could move my finger fast enough. so like I said b4, its not what its worth, its how you put what you have to proper use.

I have since sold my gun, mask, hopper, CO2, squeegee, etc for 40 bucks.

I don't know squat about paintball guns, but my brothers have been making their own for some time, out of old gun parts and carved wood stock.

I used to play all the time at my friend's house out in the boonies. It has a junkyard in the back where we play. I owned with my Tipp. 98 (No Custom). I couldn't hit shit with the tiny (under 8") barrel, but better tactics won the day. My gun is pretty ghetto compared to some of my friends' guns, i.e.- fully pimped out autococker. It was fun none the less. I haven't played in at least a year.

It's when you and a bunch of other people shoot at each other with gas powered paintball guns. These guns shoot balls filled with paint that are usually .68 caliber at about 250 feet per second. Their range is usually less than 250 ft. (I think). If you want a better explanation, ask an experienced paintballer such as zach, but those are the basics. And yes, it's extremely fun.

and i have one more thing to add. it really stings and leaves a welt sometimes when you get hit by a paintball.

Ya gota know that there's a bunch of different games. Like terminator, center flag, capture the flag, elimination, president, 24 hour games, etc. It can be played indoor or out. For starters find a field near you that sets up open games. If you like it get a gun & play with friends.

but all the games have the same basics, get shot and you are out. one reason i stopped playing is cuz we played at an abandoned rock quarry, and finally somebody called the cops and now they have no trespassing signs at the quarry and the cops patrol that area. it pisses me off cuz there is no civilation around the quarry so why cant we play there. i seriously think some people live to just make other people miserable.

We used to find forest areas to go to. Usually out of the way. In the NW there's heeps of land that no one uses. It sucks to get kicked out, but I can see on the business side if you got hurt and were a jack you might sew them or something.

Check this gun out. Go to paintballgear.com look at guns, find dragun fire, and look at the $109.00 bottomline and that is like the best gun you can get under $250 way better than your tipmann and i garrenty you would chrish that gun.
