I've posted this in a couple different forums here on this site but figured that the musclecar section would probably be the best place.
I've found a complete wrecked 69 Z28 and want to make a reasonable offer, but I really don't know what it might be worth.
If anyone could give me a good idea of the value I'd be very thankful.
It's the motor, tranny, and rearend as well as the tags off the car. If not the whole thing, though this thing is twisted something awful.
Thanks for any help

its worthless!!! ill take it off ur hands for 1000, thats more than its even worth, for a good guy...you know......
lol i wish, man u have quite a prize on ur hands... believe it or not but those tags alone are worth thousands. i dont know exact figures but i think u can sell the whole drivetrain and tags for over 10k im guessing the tranny is a 4speed.

I would guess the drivetrain is worth 10k to the right person. Pretty sure that would be a fedeal crime to put those tags on another car.

Well I can tell you what I've seen just an engine go for, this was just a long block, and it was priced at $5,000.00, these are rare engines and therefore are worth a lot of money, and the trans depending on what trans it is, if it's a 4 speed or automatic, and if it's a 4 speed is it an M-21 or M-22 Rock Crusher 4 speed, the M-22 is the most desireable, and you also need to look at the options on this particular car, such as, does it have a center consol, does it have the four wheel disc brake option, what intake manifold does it have, get the vin and I can tell what it's supposed to have, I'll also need the rpo code, it will be located on a stamp pad on the front passenger side of the block, and the casting number from the block would be a good idea, this is usually located on the back of the block at the left hand side. When you get this info let me know by email [email protected] .
